Due to ISSF rule changes, we currently have the following information to provide:
In summary, the ISSF has now set its sights on how the rule regarding the seam of the shooting jacket should be interpreted. The seam may not be placed less than 70 mm above, or 20 mm below the elbow, when the shooter is in a standing shooting position. As the Swedish Shooting Federation previously announced, an exemption from the rule for the next four years at competitions in Sweden.
If your jacket is not approved in the standing shooting position, please contact us for a discussion on how we can resolve the matter. Remember that the Swedish Shooting Sports Association has granted an exemption for the next four years. It is therefore only at international competitions and where the ISSF equipment rules are applied that you as a shooter may encounter problems in 2013. In practice, this concerns world cup competitions and international championships.
We will re-sew jackets that are not approved for a fee (currently SEK 1,500 plus shipping). The repair is carried out at the factory in Finland. Therefore, expect a couple of weeks of delivery time, depending on production intensity at the factory. Please contact us if you have any questions. With a little forethought, we will ensure that delivery can be made as quickly as possible.
